How it works
After every letter, digit and symbol the tool adds combining marks from the Unicode block U+0300–U+036F: marks that sit above the letter, marks drawn through it and marks that sit below it. The light style adds 2 marks per character, the medium style 7 and the heavy style 14. Spaces and line breaks stay as they are. The same text always gives the same result.
Example: “Hi” in the light style becomes H̝̃i̬̊.

What is Zalgo text?
Zalgo text is normal text with many combining marks piled on each letter, so the marks spill over the lines above and below. It is also called glitch text, cursed text or creepy text.
How is it made?
The generator adds Unicode combining characters after each letter. They are real characters, not images or fonts, so the text can be copied and pasted.
Why is some of it cut off in my app?
Many apps limit how many marks they show on one letter or clip anything that goes outside the line. If the result looks cut off or does not post, use the light style or paste fewer letters.
Can I get the plain text back?
Yes. The original letters are still in the text, only the marks are added. Retyping the text or running it through a tool that strips combining characters brings back the plain version.
Is it easy to read?
Heavy glitch text is hard to read for people and for screen readers, so use it for short phrases and effects, not for important information.
